Vintage Griddle Pancake bag by "I.A.O. Foods Co." in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Excellent unused stock, never circulated nor filled. These are from the 1950s and were found in a closed factory in IA. On the bag says "Griddle Mix for Buckwheat Compound Pancakes". This is made of a heavy paper stock. Back in the day, you would go to your local grocer and he would fill the bag with the amount of batter you need from the large barrels of dry goods they got in.
