Vintage "Blue Boy" Red Kidney Bean bags from Oakfield New York. These are dated from the 1940s and are about the size of a coffee bag. Colorful, has a picture of a country boy with a farm scene in the background. Original unused old store stock never circulated nor distributed, made by the Haxton and Son Packers. Got these from an old distributorship that closed down. This was typical of the era. You would go into a grocery store and order by weight your beans and the grocer (just like coffee today), would measure it out and place it in this bag for you. Nowadays our customers use these to frame, they are pure excellent memorabilia for that country kitchen feel! Dimensions: 10.50" High E-mail a friend about this item. |
